To decide, is to be responsible

For whatever you choose.

When you want some of both,

But not all of it, not all just it;

You make your choice,

But not from between them,

But of something in between them

Somewhere in the middle of mayhem.

And there you lie, in an amalgamation

In the tight spot where everything and nothing co-exist

In your attempts to escape any decision,

When you find yourself at the crossroads.

You now walk the intermediate

You don’t seek neither of the banks.

But just float and sway with the current

And if suddenly one day

The flow is too strong , you hit an extreme!

And you hit it hard!

You wake up,

From this pseudo-peaceful state

This state of suspension

In between two discretes

So finally I ve decided..
My project is about her...

Or rather ME!!
A daily routine of my early childhood...
"The Adventures of Scaling The Great Wall"
The wall to the next house..

Although I m not sure on whether in the film also there is a house beyond it...
Or if there is something a lot more exciting or mysterious or simple...

But no matter how tall and tough the wall may be....
It s always scalable!!

like most problems we face....

I have to make a film next semester.......

but I don't want it to be just anything...

there are stories that i ve made earlier...

and some of them are interesting too..

i could pick up one of them and carry foward

but right now i m just blank about it........been reading,

sketching,

even painting mugs in the middle of sleep :P

Train Journeys and me!!

well.........no i didn't go for a trin trip jus yesterday...but i came across my impressions of some of them jus last night...
i usually don't like talking much...
i love the window seat and can spend hours staring outside.....(but mostly looking inside myself)
it's best when I'm alone!
(you might want to call me ani-social for dis...............but dis is it!! )

BUT!!
sometimes!!
it isn't so great....

this is what my journey to bombay for MIFF'08 was like...

there was Brij, Punia and Anish (my batchmates) with me...

but all of us were in a similiar state!!

Catching a 7am train has never been our choice.....but thats jus wat NID wanted us to do :P

stayed awake almost the whole night....

and ended up in 2nd seating!! train running at office hours and hence even more crowded than a bee hive....people even sitting on each other!

It was jus toooo unexpected

and we thought of getting off midway atleast thrice!

but eventually all of gave in to the sandman..

slept in watever crooked distorted postures we were in....
And we sleeept!

though interspersed with innumerable screams and shouts by the hawkers selling all the wierdest things you would expect in a train in gujarat!!

so we reached Mumbai..........tired and almost dead............but happy that we managed to finally reach :)

and then there was this journey...
from ambala to delhi....this march
(back from home after my once-in-four-years birthday)
i did book a window seat...
but had to give it up out of courtesy..
sat on an aisle seat..
the most borimg!!
though much better than getting stuck between two punjabi aunties pouring out their life history in public across your face!
i had nothing to look at but the rear of the seat in front of me....but their conversations were way too entertaining and visually stimulating ......lol..
On this journey however....those around me seemed too cold...
and I decided to just draw the page of my notebook and it's surrounding..
so i call it........... "A page and Around"

hmmphhhhhh.......

but this isn't the kind of train journeys i usually have
i ve had many of the better kinds too
:P
like the one back to home after my first semester in NID, the one to Bhopal for "environmental perception" and back and the funniest one where one of my classmates from school was on the next seat (just by chance!!)

thats how they ve been with me so far.......these trains from indian railway...
n i m goin on another within this week.......
let's see

its a translation by someone other than whose version i read ....

but this story is a completely different perspective at the idea of flying!
and rising. and the struggle to fly!
"jonathan livingstone seagull" has it in another sense!
But putting ourselves in these stories is a wonderful way of seeing life....
And seeing how we see life!

I have been thinking of doing this for quite some time now and am finally starting this blog...

i intend to post here......things i Stumble upon...
